Marriage Intimacy and Relationship Problems

Top Relationship Problems and Marriage Problems People Face Today
What do you do when you and your partner are faced with marriage intimacy problems? How do you deal with relationship issues?

One way to deal with relationship problems is learn how to be an active listener.  Listen and understand your partner's needs. You and your partner would feel that you are in committed relationship if you learn how to respect each other's needs.

We would like to share with you an article on the top marriage intimacy problems, and how to resolve them.

Top Relationship Problems and Marriage Problems People Face Today
By Steve E Jones

Sex, money and communication are the top three relationship problems many face today. Each would come in different forms and order, but all the same, it is equally important why these become problems so you can avoid getting trapped in misery in your relationships or marriage.

If satisfaction is no longer guaranteed

No matter what we say in public or amongst friends, sex does play a big role in relationships. The chemistry between two lovers must be present and in-tune, otherwise problems in other forms will start surfacing especially if one (or both) is continuously unsatisfied in the bedroom. When in a relationship, you have to realize that it's not just about you - ever. While you want to be satisfied in bed, you have to take into consideration that your partner wants to be satisfied, too. You may not always be the mood when your partner wants some quality time in bed, but sometime you have to give in because there would be times that you will want the same when the other is not in the mood for sex. It's all about having a give-and-take relationship.

No money, more problems

Sure, we all say "it's not just about the money," and maybe it is true. But the fact remains that a bad financial situation to cause some strain in a relationship or marriage. When money is tight, it causes additional stress for either or both of the parties involved, and the differences on what each would consider a priority becomes an issue. Sometimes, the simple needs of one over the other would be reason for arguments, especially when the other does not think that such needs are so important that they have to come before the payment of another bill. For example, the lady's appointment at the salon may be a necessity to her, but to the man of the house, his gold membership at the club is more important. What does this bring about? They start fighting over where those couple hundred dollars really should go.

Communication with a capital C
Face it - in any relationship, communication is the key. When there is something you are happy about, talk about it. When there is something that bothers you, talk about it. When you need some "quiet time alone," talk about it. The minute you stop talking about your thoughts and feelings, it is also the time you stop working on your relationship. It does not matter how many times you have sex a week or how much money you have - if you don't talk to your partner, you will find yourself waking up in bed alone one day and there is no more turning back the time to make things right. Of course, when we say talk, it does not mean nagging or being constantly critical or hostile. Talk about things that matter to you as well as the things that matter to your partner. You have to maintain open communication with your partner. As much as talking to your partner is important, listening to him or her is equally just as important to make your relationship or marriage will work.

How to Save a Marriage Without Intimacy - Bring Back the Passion
By Julio Gomez

When one partner ceases to be sexually intimate with the other, it can become extremely stressful, as the partner on the receiving end often feels unwanted and unloved. This can often evoke feelings of frustration, resentment and even anger and if the situation is not rectified then it can end up in a marriage breakdown. If you are in this situation and you don' t know where to turn then you need to find answers on how to save a marriage without intimacy.

Most people believe that when their partner no longer wants to be intimate with them, they either; do not find them attractive anymore or that they have found somebody else. Nine times out of ten, this is just not the case. More often than not there are other underlying factors that can cause a lack of intimacy in your marriage. If these problems can be addressed and resolved, then it is possible for a healthy sexual relationship to resume.

Stress can and often does cause a lack of libido, so if you feel that your partner is stressed in anyway then you might need to give them support. It may well be that your partner has a particularly stressful job and is finding it hard to switch off. It may well be that they are harbouring financial concerns, or that they are worried about the safety of their job and the impact that this will have on the family. Do not try to force them to talk about it, as this may drive them further away. Instead, be ready to listen to your partner when they want to vent. Act as a sounding board and tell them that you will support them and are there for them whenever they want to talk. This will send a clear message to your partner that you care for them deeply. If they do come home from work totally stressed out, then try to put them in a relaxed frame of mind. For example, run them a bath or offer a neck massage. This will relax your partner and they will feel more inclined to open up to you.

Everyday living can become very monotonous and it is easy to get sucked up into the daily grind of family life. So for this reason it is very important to make quality time to spend with your partner, away from other distractions. If you can set aside time everyday to have some "one on one" attention then this will signal to your partner that you value your relationship and see it as very important. Maybe sit down of an evening after the kids have gone to bed and do something together. Whether that be watching an old movie, listening to some music or just talking. It really doesn't matter what, but it is important that you do it together. Doing this will strengthen the bond between you and reinforce the relationship.

Once you have found out the root cause of the problem then putting these simple techniques into practise can and often do work. However this is just the tip of the iceberg.
